_**Credit Risk Practitioner – Line 1 Bankwest Credit Risk Strategy**_ **The Team:** At its core, credit is trust extended over time. Every credit decision shapes customer outcomes, portfolio performance, and the long-term resilience of the bank. To support the modernisation of our function we are building a more integrated, insight-led practitioner model that goes beyond reporting by playing an active role in shaping outcomes. **The Role:** This is an opportunity for a Credit Risk professional to play an important role in delivering and embedding the evolution of the function. As a Credit Risk Practitioner, you will combine analytical capability, sound judgement, governance discipline, and delivery focus to support decision quality across the credit lifecycle. You will work closely with Product, Pricing, Distribution, Technology, Operations, Collections and L1 and L2 Risk teams to help design, implement and optimise credit strategies that improve customer outcomes and strengthen portfolio performance. You will be responsible for owning credit problems within your area of responsibility end-to-end - from defining problems and analysing performance through to implementing decisions, monitoring outcomes, and refining strategies over time. The role moves beyond reporting and analysis into accountability for practical, controlled and effective credit outcomes. You will also have opportunities to contribute to broader team capability through collaboration, knowledge sharing and peer support, while continuing to deepen your own practitioner expertise and development.
