Must Have
Proven experience in a Credit Risk Manager, Credit Manager, or similar role within a corporate/commercial environment, Knowledge of trade credit risk, customer onboarding, credit assessments, and portfolio management, Experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations, Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, payment behaviour, and market data, Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge decisions where required, Communication skills with the ability to present risk findings clearly to senior stakeholders
Nice to Have
Knowledge of credit insurance management and insurer relationship oversight, Experience using credit reporting tools, ERP systems, and risk dashboards, Commercially minded with the ability to balance business growth and risk mitigation, Proactive, resilient, and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, Professional qualifications in Finance, Credit Management, or a related field would be advantageous
What You'll Do.
Manage customer credit risk portfolio
Assess and approve new customer credit applications
Set credit limits based on risk analysis
Review existing customer accounts
Monitor payment trends and overdue balances
Identify high-risk accounts
Recommend actions for high-risk accounts
Challenge or decline orders exceeding limits
Produce credit risk dashboards and reports
and develop credit team
Manage relationships with external credit insurers
Drive continuous improvement in credit risk processes
Support senior leadership with risk insights
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with commercial and sales teams; Support senior leadership with insights and recommendations; Lead, coach, and develop a team of four direct reports
Communication Scope
Present risk findings clearly to senior stakeholders
