Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of experience working with third party insurance, claims follow-up, cash posting and/or general ledger accounting in a healthcare setting, Ability to type, spell, write or print legibly with accurate data entry skills and use computer and other office equipment, Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations
Nice to Have
Associates Degree, 3 years of experience working with working with third party insurance, claims follow-up, cash posting and/or general ledger accounting in a healthcare setting, Ability to type, spell, write or print legibly with accurate data entry skills, Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel), Knowledge of Epic Systems and/or equivalent cash management system, Working knowledge of professional and hospital billing and follow-up

Facilitate resolution of credit balances
Complete contractual adjustments
Research payer contracts
Determine reimbursement amounts
Provide adequate documentation
