Full Job Description

About the role The Credit & Collections Specialist is responsible for optimizing regional cash flow by managing the full lifecycle of accounts receivable for key portfolios. This role balances assertive collection strategies with risk mitigation to achieve monthly targets, reduce delinquency, and maintain a healthy aged receivables profile. Key Responsibilities This is a maternity leave cover position in a hybrid setting based at our Cork office. Your responsibilities will include: * Manage end-to-end credit and collection activities for a designated German customer portfolio to optimize regional cash flow and meet monthly targets. * Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service to proactively resolve billing disputes and queries, ensuring a seamless customer experience. * Perform diligent account reconciliations to maintain a clean and accurate aged debt profile and ensure data integrity within the ledger. * Execute the order release process in strict accordance with Avery Dennison credit policy to balance sales growth with financial risk. * Monitor and enforce adherence to agreed credit terms, utilizing professional negotiation to address delinquency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). ## Qualifications Required * Minimum of 18 months of progressive experience within a dedicated Credit Control or Accounts Receivable environment. * Educated to Certificate or Diploma level (or equivalent), ideally with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. * Full professional fluency in German and English is essential; ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to a diverse stakeholder group.
