Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Crane Service Engineer/Loler Inspector to join our team based in northeast Scotland (Aberdeen/Dundee). The role of a Crane Service Engineer/Loler Inspector will involve the maintenance, repair and upgrade of our customers' lifting equipment and separate to this, carry out LOLER inspections of overhead gantry cranes. This is a multi-skilled and diverse position. The work we offer is varied and two days are rarely the same. Your main responsibilities will include: Crane Service Engineer * You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes. * Trouble- shooting equipment breakdowns. * Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues. * Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device. Loler Inspections * Complete the schedule of monthly inspections, surveys and studies of overhead gantry cranes, ensuring planned works are completed * Perform inspection of equipment and document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer. * Consult with the customer regarding all production and safety related issues and discuss recommendations that will assist the customer with improving their material handling applications. * Apply the contents of LOLER & PUWER or regulations pertaining to our industry. * Complete inspection and consultation service reports, discussing production or safety issues and customer feedback received during the visit review. This role reports to the Operations Manager. ## Qualifications What we are looking for in you: * We ask that you are apprentice
