(an affiliate of Sonic Healthcare USA) is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Clinical Pathologist to join our dynamic, multi-specialty practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. **This is:** **Location: Valley Health Hospital Days: M-F Hours: 8a-5p Full-time or Part-time: Benefit Eligible** **The Role** The successful candidate will serve as the Medical Director for a clinical core laboratory servicing a six-hospital healthcare system. Responsibilities include the oversight of clinical laboratory testing at the core lab and at the "stat" laboratories located at each hospital site. This role places a major emphasis on Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology. **Qualifications** * **Certification:** Candidates must be Board Certified in Clinical Pathology (CP or AP/CP). * **Expertise:** A fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and/or Microbiology is preferred; however, we highly encourage applications from candidates with strong clinical experience and demonstrated competency in these subdisciplines. * **Skills:** The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a hospital or core laboratory setting.
