What You'll Do.
inspection of visible blemishes
inspection of misshapen units
insurance of a sound quality product
participating in safety programs
engaged in safety activities
performing risk assessments
demonstrating ownership and leadership in personal safety and the safety of other Team Members
monitoring conditions of both the primary and secondary containers when necessary
monitoring the line is operating smoothly and help where necessary
putting kwik locks onto drop bags when necessary
adding crude trays to the tray maker when unplug tray maker when necessary
folding stickers and place into secondary container when spec calls
ensuring product is trayed and cased correctly and efficiently with minimal amount of waste
ensuring the shrink wrap
drop bags and overall condition of the pack wrap is in good condition prior to help train new personnel in the position of co-product hand pack
ensuring the secondary containers have the appropriate case amount in accordance with customer and case strip out product to garbage when necessary
maintaining good housekeeping in his/her assigned area
informing the Supervisor immediately of any finished product change
and/or any unusual condition
reporting any personnel problems
safety violations or hazards
infractions of plant rules
etc. to the Rework damaged or restricted cases and bags of product
inspecting cooked frozen potato products at the frozen inspection station at the exit of the spiral freeze tunnel
ensuring trays are sleeved in a poly bag and placed in a case when necessary
performing all other duties assigned/requested by the team lead or supervisor
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
giving Care huddles; addressing all safety concerns with the Production Team Lead; help train new personnel in the position of co-product hand pack; reporting personnel problems, safety violations or hazards, infractions of plant rules, etc. to the Rework; reporting to the Supervisor immediately of any finished product change, excessive waste, and/or any unusual condition; performing all other duties assigned/requested by the team lead or supervisor
