What You'll Do.
Perform entrance control
Operate security screening equipment
Check items such as handbags
Perform roving patrol
Patrol court facilities and grounds
Perform stationary post assignments
Monitor closed-circuit television
Monitor duress alarm systems
Monitor other security equipment
Perform escort duties
Provide armed escort services for judges
Perform garage parking and pedestrian control
Direct traffic and control lights on court facility
Detain persons attempting unauthorized access
Detain persons attempting to commit acts that imperil
Prepare reports and records
Prepare reports regarding contract performance issues
Prepare reports on labor hours worked
Secure unattended courtrooms
Inspect courtrooms prior to proceeding
Test security devices
Provide security presence in the courtroom
Enforce federal law and judicial orders within courtroom
Enforce local court rules regarding prohibited items
Provide protection to court proceedings
