Must Have
Master's degree, 5+ years’ experience in higher education quality, accreditation, curriculum design, or academic development, working knowledge of TEQSA and regulatory frameworks, Experience preparing accreditation documentation and working on course reviews, Ability to translate regulatory standards into practical course design outcomes, Highly organised, able to manage high volumes of work and competing priorities, stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior academic leaders
Nice to Have
PhD desirable, Direct experience working with TEQSA, Background in learning design or academic development, Ability to operate effectively in evolving environments with manual or developing systems, A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
What You'll Do.
leads comprehensive course review and re-accreditation processes across the university
ensuring course quality
regulatory compliance
and continuous improvement across the full course lifecycle
work closely with academic leaders to enable high-quality course design and decision-making
Manage and deliver comprehensive course reviews (CCR)
overseeing 35–45 reviews annually across multiple disciplines
Lead course re-/accreditation activities aligned with TEQSA and internal governance requirements
Conduct market viability and course performance analysis using internal and external data to inform academic decisions
Partner with Executive Deans
and Academic Administration to drive course quality outcomes
Enable academic teams to improve courses
acting as a sounding board and guide rather than owning academic decisions
Ensure alignment with the Higher Education Standards Framework and internal quality processes
Identify and implement process improvements across course review and accreditation workflows
Prepare high-quality accreditation documentation
Managing multiple course reviews simultaneously with clear timelines and milestones
Analysing course data and market insights to support recommendations
Facilitating discussions with academics on course improvements
Coordinating accreditation documentation and governance processes
Working independently while collaborating across faculties and teams

This role is central to ensuring course quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the full course lifecycle.
