This course is an introduction to Modern Standard Arabic, including pronunciation, reading and writing of the Arabic script; and speaking and comprehension of basic sentences, commands, statements in the present tense. **Teaching Qualification Requirements:** **Education** M.A. or PhD degree in Arabic linguistics, literature, or a related field. **Experience** Relevant teaching experience at a university or college level.
