Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** **Hiring unit:** _Department of Geography_ **Course:** GEOG 322 Environmental Hydrology \- Fall 2026 (3 Credits) **Job Description:** Covering the course topics related to environmental hydrology at an introductory level. The topics covered the catchment concept, precipitation and snow processes, evapotranspiration, soil water hydrology, the runoff hydrograph and runoff processes, discharge processes including extremes (floods and droughts), and the hydrology of lakes, wetlands/peatlands, forested catchments and permafrost regions. The successful applicant would be responsible for four take-home assignments, a course precis (annotated bibliography) project, a midterm exam, and a final exam. **Teaching Qualification Requirements:** A PhD in physical geography or related environmental science with an excellent understanding of the processes in catchment hydrology. Be a good communicator and have good course management skills.
