Professional Seminar 2. **Description:** Professional and ethical practices as novice teachers. Case study approach of topics include: identity, contributions to education, connections to competencies, professional organizations and professional development. Ongoing support for and debrief of concurrent internship. E-portfolios are completed and prepared for future professional development in the field. _This course is not Team taught or offered online._ **Term:** Fall 2026 **Credits:** 1 credit **Location:** Education Building (EDUC 431) **Schedule:** Monday, 05:35 pm-08:25 pm **Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):** Education: 1\. PhD (in exceptional cases, PhD candidates and master teachers with an MA and extensive relevant experience will be considered). 2\. Teaching degree and certification, or equivalent. Experience: 1\. School-based teaching experience in secondary schools, preferably in Quebec. 2\. Expert knowledge of and experience related to course content. 3\. Knowledge of the Québec Education Program (QEP) and professional competency frameworks relevant to teacher education. 4\. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the graduate level is an asset. 5\. Familiarity with myCourses and Zoom or similar online course platforms an asset. 6\.
