The Search for World Views. **Description:** An approach to the study of world views including both religious and non-religious perspectives. This course explores humanity's major religious traditions, especially Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Indigenous traditions, and non-religious traditions such as atheism and agnosticism. _This course is not Team taught or offered online._ **Term:** Fall 2026 **Credits:** 3 credits **Location:** Education Building (EDUC 624) **Schedule:** Tuesday, 05:35 pm-08:25 pm **Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):** Education: 1\. Master’s degree (In exceptional circumstances applicants without a Master's degree but with significant research or professional experience related to the course content may be considered). Experience: 1\. Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP). 2\. Familiarity with the Professional Competencies specified by the Ministère de l’Éducation. 3\. Expert knowledge of course content. 4\. Experience teaching in the Quebec elementary/secondary school system. 5\. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) to pre-service teachers. Other: 1\. Commitment to working with a team of committed and engaged instructors. 2\. Must be available to attend course coordination and planning meeting minimum of 2 weeks in advance of course start date. **Posting Period:** June 1, 2026 – June 12, 2
