Third Year Professional Seminar (Kindergarten/Elementary). **Description:** Theory-based strategies for setting up, managing and teaching in the elementary school classroom. Methods for integrating the individual subject areas in the elementary school curriculum, using the Quebec curriculum as the primary example. Professional portfolios and professional competencies will be addressed. _This course is not Team taught or offered online._ **Term:** Fall 2026 **Credits:** 3 credits **Location:** Education Building (EDUC 613) **Schedule:** Monday, 11:35 am-02:25 pm **Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):** Education: 1\. Master’s degree (In exceptional circumstances applicants without a Master's degree but with significant research or professional experience related to the course content may be considered). 2\. Teaching degree or equivalent. Experience**:** 1\. Experience teaching in elementary schools. 2\. Expert knowledge of course content. 3\. Knowledge of the Quebec Education Program (QEP). 4\. Familiarity with the professional competencies specified by the Ministère de l’Éducation. 5\. Experience teaching in the Quebec elementary/secondary school system an asset. 6\.
