Communication in Education. **Description:** Written and oral communication in Education (in English): emphasis on strategies for identifying, analyzing and solving writing and speaking problems. Course work based on academic and professional communication in education, with a particular focus on classroom communication. _This course is not Team taught or offered online._ **Term:** Fall 2026 **Credits:** 3 credits **Location:** Education Building (EDUC 431) **Schedule:** Friday, 02:35 pm-05:25 pm **Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):** Education: 1\. Master’s degree (in exceptional circumstances applicants without a Master’s degree but with significant research or professional experience related to the course content may be considered). Experience: 1, Expert knowledge of course content. 2\. Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP). 3\. Familiarity with the Professional Competencies specified by the Ministere de l’Éducation. 4\. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) to pre-service teachers an asset. 5\. Experience teaching in the Quebec school system. Other: 1\. Commitment to working with a team of committed and engaged instructors 2\. Must be available to attend course coordination and planning meeting minimum of 2 weeks in advance of course start date. Additional Information: 1\. Familiarity using MyCourses or similar online platforms.
