What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read and comprehend road maps.
Nice to Have
Experienced couriers may occasionally assist with training/orientation/and ride-along of new staff based on department needs.
What You'll Do.
Transports mail, supplies, and clinical lab specimens to and from HNL Lab Medicine accounts, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while operating a motor vehicle safely and maintaining a positive professional image.
Coordinates with dispatch, verifies pickups and deliveries, and maintains vehicle integrity through regular sanitization and maintenance.
Adapts to logistics technology changes and completes assigned monthly driver safety modules.
