ABOUT BJAK BJAK is building the next-generation insurance and financial services platform—designed to be radically simple, transparent, and accessible. We are the largest insurance platform in Southeast Asia, operating at scale across the region, and continue to expand into new markets with a strong focus on execution, technology, and measurable outcomes. ABOUT THE ROLE The Country Manager - Thailand is the single-threaded owner of BJAK’s Thailand business, with full P&L responsibility. This role owns the market end to end - from setting up and running local operations to driving revenue, controlling costs, and scaling the business into a profitable, durable operation. This is a true General Manager role, not a functional position. We are looking for a tech-first operator who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution, work closely with product and engineering teams, and make hard commercial decisions at speed. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Own full P&L responsibility for the Thailand business, including revenue growth, cost discipline, and long-term profitability. - Build and run the Thailand operation, establishing the local structure, operating model, and execution cadence needed to win the market. - Translate BJAK’s global strategy into a clear Thailand business plan and execute it with speed and discipline. - Build and lead the Thailand team across marketing, PR, support, and operations, hiring people who take ownership and deliver results. - Drive distribution and growth through partnerships, platforms, and ecosystem relationships that materially impact revenue. - Work closely with product and engineering teams to localize the platform for Thailand, balancing regulation, customer needs, and product velocity.
