Managing walk-in customers
Shipping and receiving
Picking and packing goods
Developing shipping labels and documents
Ensuring orders have been picked and packed correctly
Services customers via telephone and/or walk-ins
Ensures counters are properly stocked
Interacts with customers
and associates to resolve customer-related and service-related issues
Acts as a liaison between warehouse and picks and packs goods to be shipped
Prepares identifying information and shipping instructions
Determines method of shipment
Prepares all required and supporting documentation
Ensures timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction
Checks and signs delivery slips
Assists with unloading
or other equipment to load

Inspects and verifies incoming goods against purchase orders or other documents
Rejects damaged goods
Organizes distribution and shipping of merchandise

Also responsible for some shipping and receiving, picking and packing goods, developing shipping labels and documents and ensuring orders have been picked and packed correctly. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities** * Services customers via telephone and/or walk-ins and ensures counters are properly stocked. Interacts with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer-related and service-related issues. * Acts as a liaison between warehouse and customers; Picks and packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions. * Determines method of shipment and preparing all required and supporting documentation. Ensures timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction. * Receives merchandise - checks and signs delivery slips and assists with unloading. Affixes barcodes, tags, and security tags, and may operate forklift, hand trucks, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods. * Inspects and verifies incoming goods against purchase orders or other documents, records shortages, and rejects damaged goods. * Organizes distribution and shipping of merchandise.
