What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active and independent Oregon license: LCSW or LPC, 2+ years of experience as an independent clinician, Prior experience supervising clinicians, Ability to supervise clinicians across substance use and mental health treatment, Willingness to work in-office in the Portland metro area, Ability to maintain a Monday–Friday schedule, communication and leadership skills, Experience supporting documentation standards, utilization, and performance management
Nice to Have
Experience leading teams and managing clinical staff performance, Experience with hiring, onboarding, or training clinicians, Familiarity with local Oregon treatment landscape and community resources

As we expand in Oregon, we are seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead, develop, and support a team of clinicians while helping drive strong clinical outcomes and operational excellence. About the Role This is a hybrid leadership role based in the Portland metro area. The Counselor Supervisor will oversee a team of counselors and therapists, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong clinical performance, and alignment with Affect’s treatment model. This role blends clinical supervision, team leadership, performance management, and program development—ideal for someone who enjoys building, coaching, and improving systems while staying connected to clinical work.
