J.D. from accredited law school, Admission to at least one U.S. state bar, Ability to register as Connecticut authorized in-house counsel, Trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement background, Experience drafting and negotiating corporate contracts, Working and recent knowledge of clearance search work, Working and recent knowledge of U.S. trademark prosecution, Familiarity with domestic IP enforcement strategies, Familiarity with international IP enforcement strategies

Draft cease-and-desist letters

Manage third party enforcement vendors

Support litigation if necessary

Develop best practices for IP enforcement

Institute best practices for IP protection

Develop strategies for infringements

Develop strategies for counterfeit

Develop strategies for video piracy

Advise on copyright issues

Advise on domain name issues

Advise on brand protection issues

Support IP enforcement

Monitor IP infringements

Send cease and desist letters

Handle opposition and related disputes

Collaborate with external counsel on enforcement

Collaborate with IP offices globally on enforcement

Work with internal business units on IP matters

Stay current on legal developments

Stay current on IP law changes

Stay current on technology affecting brand owners

Draft contracts for business needs

Review contracts for business needs

Negotiate contracts for business needs

Provide legal advice to business units

Provide real-time analysis on business issues
