Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. Affirm’s Commercial Legal (Revenue) team is instrumental in building, scaling, and supporting the framework for global commercial transactions and GTM efforts. We focus on structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial and strategic partnerships involving a diverse range of financial and technology products and services while navigating a complex set of regulations. In this role, you will be a key advisor to Affirm’s fast-growing sales, partnerships, and merchant success teams. What you'll do : Structure, draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of global commercial agreements, including highly complex and novel agreements Collaborate with and provide strategic and legal advice to various cross-functional teams, including but not limited to, sales, product, finance, tax, customer ops and risk Lead or participate in projects to improve internal processes and increase the efficiency and scalability of the Commercial Legal team Train and help educate internal business partners Manage and resolve legal issues that arise in existing domestic and international commercial relationships Build and improve templates for global revenue-generating commercial agreements Build collaborative and effective working relationships with various teams in the U.
