Must have a critical eye for detail. Ability to travel globally when required. Operates with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, tact, and professionalism. Sound judgement, unquestionable ethics, and integrity with high degree of transparency and trust.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

A Degree in Quantity Surveying and 5+ years of experience in Retail Cost Management are required. Must have a high level of financial appraisal skill and experience of all RIBA stages of the design process. Detailed experience of Retail Construction is essential. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under tight deadlines, and reprioritize efficiently is necessary. Must be a self-starter able to work under own initiative with excellent organizational skills and a critical eye for detail. Ability to travel globally when required.

Nice to Have

Chartered membership of a construction related professional body – RICS – is preferred.

Fosters team working across external partners and collaborates with specification and procurement colleagues to drive costs down. Works with internal stakeholders and Senior Cost Manager to manage the cost model. Supports Senior Cost Manager to manage relationships with group legal and insurance experts.
