Job Title: Cost Engineer – Civil (Transit Projects) Location: New York City, NY (On-site, 5 days per week) Salary Range: $140,000 – $165,000 annually Overview: Seeking a Cost Engineer to support cost control, forecasting, and financial tracking for large-scale civil and transit infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts Manage labor, material, and workforce account tracking Monitor and evaluate change orders and cost impacts Track manpower usage and productivity Prepare cost reports and support forecasting/earned value analysis Partner with project teams to manage cost performance Support business development (BD) and proposal efforts Identify cost risks, variances, and optimization opportunities Qualifications 5+ years in cost engineering/project controls (civil construction) Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects; transit preferred Experience tracking change orders, labor, and manpower Exposure to alternative delivery / BD projects (design-build, CMAR, P3) preferred Proficiency in tools like Excel, Primavera, EcoSys, or similar Strong analytical and communication skills Bachelor’s degree preferred One Team.
