Based in the Darling Downs region, this position will be required for the duration of the outage, commencing mid-July until project close out expected to be late November. This position is a site-based role and will require the successful applicant to work away from home for extended periods of time. This position during peak periods will be Monday - Saturday 11hr - 12hr days. **Nature of position:** Casual **Location:** Darling Downs **Reporting Line:** Project Controls Lead **Key Responsibilities** This role ensures accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and compliance with all financial and project control requirements while working closely with multi-disciplined teams. * Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost breakdown structures * Monitor actual costs versus forecasts and report variances * Prepare cost reports and performance metrics and report at agreed frequency * Support change management processes and assess cost impacts of scope changes * Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to align cost and schedule baseline **About You** To be successful in this role, you are an experienced **Cost and Project Controller** with a genuine concern for safety. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with outage / turnaround or shutdown
