Cost Analyst **The Opportunity:** Do you want to use your analysis skills to help the Navy get the most out of its funding? When it comes to considering the costs of building and maintaining systems, you know there is more to it than parts and labor. That's why we need you, a cost analyst who can turn requirements into a complete financial understanding for the Navy. As a cost analyst on our team, you’ll transform program requirements into data‑driven, defensible cost estimates that will impact how hundreds of millions of dollars are invested throughout the defense system life cycle. You’ll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan and execute cost data collection, normalize and analyze data, and develop baseline and alternative cost estimates. You will apply analytical techniques such as regression analysis, learning curves, risk and uncertainty analysis to produce credible, comprehensive cost positions. Using data analysis and visualization tools, you will model and clearly communicate results to senior leaders. Your work will help ensure the Navy fields systems on time and with resources aligned to mission needs.
