ensure timely closure of completed work scopes; produce accurate variance analysis reports and metrics; ensure compliance with proper reporting requirements and deadlines; facilitate timely billing

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years of experience in a related field, Proficient computer and technical aptitude to utilize MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, IFRS, GAAP and CAS, Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams/organizations, Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, Detail oriented, high degree of personal accountability
Nice to Have
preferably in manufacturing or corporate accounting, Government contracting experience, Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning system
What You'll Do.
Perform accounting responsibilities
Prepare month end closing journal entries
Perform general ledger account analysis
Ensure direct costs are accounted for
Maintain knowledge of assigned Projects
Perform weekly and monthly allocations
Work with Engineering to set standard cost
Perform Project inventory analysis
Maintain Project status reports
Prepare Project Close-out reports
Establish Projects and cost structures
Create ad hoc reports and metrics
Support AR Billing Specialist
Analyze Project and shop order data
Produce accurate variance analysis reports
Coordinate and liaise with auditors
Support audits by DCAA
Maintain written policy and procedures
Maintain compliance with Company policies
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Works with Engineering; Supports AR Billing Specialist; Coordinates and liaisons with external and internal auditors/reviewers; Liaises with Personnel from all departments
Communication Scope
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Process & Methodology
Maintain Project status reports, Preparation of Project Close-out reports, Establish Projects and cost structures
