Must Have
Master's Degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or related field, 1 year experience in counseling, mental health field, Facilitation of psychoeducational groups, Ability to read, write, and speak English, Basic math skills, Ability to solve practical problems, Ability to interpret instructions, Ability to operate telephones, computer terminal, keyboard, photocopier, and printer/scanning instrumentation, LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor, LCSW- License Clinical Social Worker, NCAC - National Certified Addictions Counselor, Hold a permit in Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate or Clinical Social Worker Candidate or equivalent with ability to obtain a license within 2.5 years, Proficient in speaking and writing the second language

What You'll Do.
Facilitate suicide staffing
Prepare progress notes
Complete EMR documentation
Maintain counseling files
Provide psycho-educational groups
Provide cognitive behavioral based programs
Provide short term individual counseling
Provide case management
Respond to Inmate Request Forms
Respond to Mental Health Referral Forms
Complete assessment for emergency commitment (M-1)
Prepare appropriate documentation
Help resolve housing conflicts
Consult with staff for resolution
Enter general population living area
Discuss programs with inmates
Problem solve with inmates
Maintain good order and discipline
Follow security precautions
Complete Psychiatric Medication Review
Complete diagnostic mental health evaluation
Consult with medical staff
Establish working relationships with community agencies
Initiate inmate referrals to community
Provide in-service training to jail staff
