What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Political Science, Business, or related field, Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in community relations, public affairs, corporate communications, or government relations, Working knowledge of web development, multi-media, social media, video, and graphic design layout, Executive presence and credibility with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders internally and externally, strategic thinking with the ability to translate business priorities into community engagement initiatives, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation, relationship management and networking capabilities, Sound judgment and discretion when representing the company in public and political environments, Ability to manage multiple high-visibility priorities with professionalism and attention to detail, Experience with digital communications, social media strategy, and engagement analytics, organizational, planning, and project management capabilities, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with communication/marketing platforms, Knowledgeable about basic office equipment including a copy machine, and all appropriate printers, A current Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record, Able to maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate scheduling appointments with prospective community leaders/organizations, and to participate in marketing and community events, Able to maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times, Able to sit for long periods of time while performing essential duties, Able to stand for long periods of time while attending outreach activities or similar events, Able to bend, stoop, and/or kneel to lift 10-20 lbs. of files, marketing materials, or other documents, Able to travel locally, state-wide, or nationally upon request

Design community relations strategies
Lead community relations strategies
Lead Community Involvement Committee
Coordinate cross-department collaboration
Serve as relationship manager
Identify strategic investments
Ensure alignment with strategy
Represent SWBC at events
Interface with senior executives
Support executive participation
Build trusted relationships
Lead enterprise-wide initiatives
Oversee employee participation
Provide guidance to CSR initiatives
Support monitoring public policy
Assist in government relations
Contribute to PAC activities
Develop promotional content
Ensure brand messaging
Analyze engagement metrics
Manage community relations programs
Provide direction to staff
Drive continuous improvement
