What They're Looking For.
Must Have
An attorney licensed to practice in a U. S. jurisdiction, preferably Texas or Illinois, 2-3 years of litigation experience at a law firm or in-house legal department, experience in personal injury, cargo claims, commercial disputes, and employment matters, legal research, drafting, and issue-spotting skills, including experience drafting pleadings, motions, demand letters, and litigation-related correspondence, legal fundamentals and knowledge of legal best practices, with the ability to be flexible and tailor approach and messaging to different audiences and circumstances, Experience managing a docket of complex litigation matters simultaneously, from initial workup through resolution, moral and ethical compass, Willingness to learn and grow with the company, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management as well as external partners, Ability to work well on a team as well as on your own with little supervision, Ability to speak/write clearly, concisely, and articulately, and present to a varied audience, Ability to prioritize work and handle numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, Ability to make independent decisions, assume responsibility and exercise good judgment
Nice to Have
Experience in transportation law is strongly preferred, Experience with contract drafting, review, and commercial transactional matters is a plus
What You'll Do.
Manage and coordinate the company’s litigation docket
including initial claim investigation
Conduct risk analysis and develop litigation strategies in personal injury matters
and employment matters with a wide variety of internal stakeholders
Manage the discovery processes
including internal document collection
and coordination of document review with internal parties and outside counsel
Manage labor and employment matters
coordinating with HR and outside counsel on employment disputes
administrative proceedings
and advising on employment policies and compliance
Maintain litigation tracking systems and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders on matter status

Who We Want Arrive Logistics’ Corporate Counsel-Litigation owns and manages a diverse litigation docket, representing the company’s interests as both plaintiff and defendant in personal injury, cargo claims, commercial disputes, employment and other litigation matters. The Corporate Counsel-Litigation will have a strong litigation background with experience in transportation law or related fields and all aspects of litigation including initial claim workup, discovery, and risk analysis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with internal stakeholders, outside parties, be meticulously detail oriented, and can work independently in a hyper-growth, fast-paced environment. ## What You'll Do Report directly to the Senior Corporate Counsel of the company.
