Must Have

Accredited as Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, Several years Health and Safety professional experience, Proficiency in English, Native German, In depth knowledge of local, regional and national health and safety regulations and standards, Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis, Availability to travel regularly to other locations in EMEA

Nice to Have

Certified Fire Protection Officer, Leadership skills to influence and drive a culture of safety, Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

What You'll Do.

Design and implement global

regional and local EHS

Ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk

Ensure a safe and healthy working environment

Build trust from corporate business teams

Instruct and train business leaders on Amazon EHS

Assist site teams in incorporating EHS standards

Assure Corporate employees are trained and knowledgeable on

Engage with stakeholders

Contribute to on site employees consultations

Ensure compliance to all applicable local regulations and

Engage in regional programs and initiatives

Create and execute communication and engagement plan

Ensure EHS subjects are communicated to customers and

Possess and update a thorough understanding of local/regional

Provide EHS guidance and oversight

Ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon EHS Policies

Mentor and support other EHS team members

Ensure the delivery of EHS performance

Facilitate and/or arrange training programs on critical EHS

Analyze EHS metrics weekly and monthly

Rationalize the allocation of resources

Develop and implement EHS programs

Constantly improve EHS culture within corporate offices

Conduct regular site visits

Identify non-compliance

Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks

Support the EHS Manager- EMEA to deliver EHS

Carry out EHS risk assessment activities

Deliver EHS-related training

Cooperate with local environmental authorities and H&S agencies

Investigate EHS related incidents

Support vendors in their risk assessment

Complete internal and external incident reports

Establish internal assessment/audit processes

Prepare responses to insurers/lawyers

Ensure that site leadership and Associates are trained

facilitate and contribute to worker consultation

Contribute to reduce environmental impacts

Maintain a sustainable approach for corporate office activities

Assist the EHS Manager-EMEA in preparing the EHS
