What you will do: The Corporate Counsel reports to the Vice President of Legal and serves as a strategic legal partner supporting procurement, engineering, commercial, and operational teams across the organization. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, advising cross-functional stakeholders on active projects, and leading negotiations with vendors, contractors, OEMs, and engineering partners. This role will be a valued member of Electra’s legal team that includes the Vice President of Legal and Electra’s intellectual property professionals. The Corporate Counsel also supports the development of scalable contracting processes, templates, and playbooks, while providing practical legal guidance on procurement, supply chain, and compliance matters, including cross-border considerations where applicable. This role requires exceptional business judgment, integrity, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deliver pragmatic, solution-oriented legal support in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.
