What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5–10+ years’ experience in corporate affairs, strategic communications, or PR—across in-house or agency environments, understanding of the Australian financial services and regulatory landscape, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, confident messaging, Experience in financial services, fintech, trading, or crypto—or the ability to quickly grasp complex financial concepts, Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and translate leadership perspectives into consistent external narratives, Proactive mindset, with a ability to identify opportunities to elevate communications and align them to business goals, Solid media experience, including securing coverage and building journalist relationships in Australia, Excellent writing skills, with the ability to turn technical subject matter into clear, engaging stories, Collaborative approach, with experience working alongside PR and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, understanding of how regulation, market structure, and product design influence customer behaviour and industry dynamics

What You'll Do.

Shape and deliver corporate communications strategies aligned to business priorities and growth

Translate Australian regulatory developments into clear

confident external positioning

and PR teams to ensure consistent

Spot opportunities where communications can drive growth

Lead media engagement—press releases

and tier-1 coverage in Australia

Partner with senior leaders on messaging

and thought leadership

Support product launches and key initiatives with aligned

on-brand communications

and media shifts—providing timely insight and response

Manage reputational risk and support issues and crisis communications with Legal and Compliance

Work cross-functionally to ensure consistency across PR

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partner closely with senior leaders; Align CEO office, senior stakeholders, and PR teams; Work cross-functionally to ensure consistency across PR, marketing, legal, and regional teams; Collaborative approach, with experience working alongside PR and cross-functional teams
