What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 years professional or academic experience in automotive engineering and simulation, Foundation in vehicle dynamics, Hands-on experience developing multibody vehicle models, Experience with Dymola/Modelica or similar, Experience developing lap time simulation tools, Experience with model correlation and validation, Ability to develop accurate, numerically efficient models, Experience building simulation toolchains, Familiarity with tire modeling methods, Experience using full-vehicle simulation, Programming proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, C#, Experience with FMI standards, Familiarity with structured software development practices, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-motivated with ability to operate independently, Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, High attention to detail, Commitment to quality, Work ethic, Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Our range of research & development, engineering, prototype manufacturing, test & validation, and low-rate production capability help our customers bring their high-quality products to market faster.** The Core Simulation Engineer develops, validates, and deploys high-fidelity, numerically efficient multibody vehicle models and simulation tools to support vehicle performance analysis and development across a range of environments. The primary simulation capabilities include: * Dymola-based vehicle and subsystem modeling libraries for desktop, XiL, and real-time applications * Lap time simulation (LTS) tools * Simulation workflows for tool chain integration * Vehicle dynamics analysis processed and tools This role also leads correlation and continuous improvement efforts, contributes to simulation infrastructure, and collaborates cross-functionally while providing expertise to internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in vehicle dynamics and multibody simulation, with hands-on experience in model development, correlation, and simulation toolchains for high-performance vehicles.
