Full Job Description
At Coram AI, we’re reimagining video security for the modern world. Our cloud-native platform uses computer vision and AI to help businesses stay safe, make smarter decisions, and move faster; from real-time alerts to seamless clip sharing and multi-site visibility. You’ll be joining a small, fast-moving team that values clarity, craftsmanship, and impact. The Role Our stack cuts across many technologies (front-end, backend, edge-computing, machine learning), and you will be responsible for a large part of our edge-computing stack powering Coram Point (https://www.coram.ai/nvr). This involves : - Building edge applications processing vision data and communication layers for the compute-constrained edge devices. - Deploying machine learning models to production. - Optimising the platform runtime for maximum performance. This is largely C++ code with parts of the pipeline running on GPU. - Building observability and telemetry. Qualifications: - A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science - 3-8 years of experience in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented - Strong Programming in C++ and strong understanding of Linux - Knowledge of any other development language, including Java, Python, and Shell scripts (a plus) - It would be great if you also have experience with one or more - Edge/IoT computing (we have a fleet of deployed edge computers). - Infrastructure management (we use Salt). - Monitoring (we use Grafana). - Video processing & streaming (we use Gstreamer). - Experience interfacing ML models (we use PyTorch).
