About the opportunity We’re looking for a German-language Copywriter to join the N26 Creative Studio in Berlin or Barcelona. You’ll play a key role in shaping how N26 speaks to millions of customers across Europe — turning complex financial topics into communication that’s attention-grabbing and easy to understand. Your main focus will be creating high-quality German campaign and marketing copy, while also contributing English writing when needed. You’ll work closely with our German Localisation Specialist, English Copywriters, and Designers to make sure everything we put out into the world reflects a consistent voice and a high standard of craft. The Creative Studio operates primarily in English, but this role is focused on producing exceptional German-language creative work. In this role, you will: Write clear, engaging German copy across social, paid media, CRM, web, OOH, and other marketing channels. Develop campaign ideas, headlines, and concepts directly in German. Adapt and transcreate English campaigns into strong, culturally relevant German communication. Contribute English-language copy when needed alongside primarily German writing responsibilities. Collaborate closely with localisation to maintain linguistic excellence and a consistent brand voice in German. What you need to be successful: Background: Recognised qualification within the field of copywriting. 3+ years of professional copywriting experience at agencies, start-ups, or companies, ideally for B2C digital or tech products. Based in Berlin or Barcelona — or willing to relocate. This is a hybrid role with 8 days in-office days per month. Skills: Exceptional German writing skills at C2+ level, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality German copywriting craft. Professional fluency in English, as the Creative Studio collaborates and operates primarily in English.
