What They're Looking For.

Must Have

At least a year at a daily news operation, preferably in news, Excellent news judgment, demonstrated ability to edit news, write headlines, assess the scope of stories, Must be assertive, flexible, organized, knowledge of newspaper technology, ability to analyze and coordinate visual presentation, Ability to deal with people with candor, honesty, and respect, Must be available for shift work, May be required to work various hours for coverage outside of normal business hours

Nice to Have

Intense college-newspaper experience will be considered

What You'll Do.
