Must Have

High School/GED

Nice to Have

Associates, 5 years related work experience as a courier, Experience with laboratory inventory, supply distribution, and/or laboratory specimen tracking, Leadership experience in courier services

What You'll Do.

Coordinate courier routes by scheduling and dispatching courier assignments

Respond to phone requests for pickup and delivery

Serve as liaison between couriers and Lab Supervisors

Coordinate operation of courier services with contract vendor

Maintain accuracy of all delivery manifests

Ensure timely and efficient delivery of all orders

Prepare customer orders for shipment

Maintain stock items ordered by customers

Serve as primary dispatcher for on-demand requests

Communicate with couriers to meet service demands

Communicate client concerns

Coach and train new and existing couriers

Administer laboratory protocol for drivers

Work with outside courier service to incorporate requests

Supervise outside courier route schedules

Reconcile vendor invoices for courier charges

Evaluate cost-saving opportunities

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Serve as the liaison between the couriers and Lab Supervisors or Managers.; Coordinates the operation of the courier services with the contract vendor; Works with outside courier service to determine if request can be incorporated on an existing route.; Supervises outside courier route schedules to improve efficiencies for existing and new laboratory accounts and reduce costs.
