Degree or Diploma in health and safety or science, Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist designation, Digital literacy with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have

Experience in mining or heavy industry, Willingness to work towards ROHT designation

What You'll Do.

Maintain and implement exposure reduction strategies

Participate in health and safety programs

Conduct workplace hazard assessments

Conduct worker and workplace occupational hygiene sampling

Maintain inventory of hygiene sampling equipment

Manage day-to-day aspects of occupational hygiene programs

Record and report sampling results

Recommend control measures

Provide mentorship to employees

Provide technical training to employees

Provide informational presentations to employees

Improve employee knowledge of concerns

Improve management awareness of concerns

Implement exposure controls through Exposure Treatment Plan

Reduce risk to high risk hazards

Maintain constructive relationship with regulatory agencies

Keep informed on new developments
