U. S. citizenship is required, Weekend position: Friday – Sunday 6:30am – 7pm, FAA regulated facility, safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines, Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
HS Diploma or GED equivalent, 1+ years’ experience with CMM programming
Nice to Have
ASME certification, Aerospace, defense, automotive, or precision machining background, Experience with FAIRs, PPAPs, and AS9100/ISO 9001 standards, Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
What You'll Do.
performing dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines and other precision inspection tools to verify that engine components meet engineering specifications
customer requirements
and industry standards
ensuring product conformity
supporting production with timely feedback
maintaining the overall quality system
and operate CMM equipment to perform first-article
and final inspections
Interpret engineering drawings
and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
and troubleshoot CMM programs (e. g.
Perform dimensional analysis using micrometers
and other precision instruments
Document inspection results and generate reports for quality records
and customer submissions
Identify nonconformances and communicate findings to engineering
Support root-cause investigations
and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain calibration of inspection tools and follow all standard work
and quality system requirements
Assist with training operators and inspectors on print reading and measurement techniques
