Position Summary The Part time Cook is responsible for preparing high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role ensures that all menu items are prepared according to company standards, supports kitchen operations, and contributes to a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking * Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines. * Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency meet company standards. * Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients, equipment, and utensils. * Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (ovens, grills, fryers, knives, etc.). Food Safety & Cleanliness * Follow all food safety regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control. * Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation throughout shifts. * Adhere to health and safety policies, including safe food handling procedures. * Perform cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sweeping, and equipment cleaning as needed. Teamwork & Communication * Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service. * Communicate any shortages, issues, or concerns to supervisors promptly. * Support training of new kitchen team members when required. Operational Excellence * Follow portion control, waste reduction, and cost‑management practices. * Assist with inventory rotation and receiving deliveries. * Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards. ## Qualifications Qualifications Education & Experience * High school diploma or equivalent. Cook/ Culinary program certificate is an asset. * 1–2 years
