Position: Conveyancing Paralegal[](https://www.hlslegal.co.nz) Salary: PHP 90,000 to PHP 110,000 per month depending on experience Working Hours & Conditions: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM NZT **ROLE OVERVIEW:** The firm is looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to support their busy property team across the full lifecycle of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions. Working alongside experienced lawyers and partners, you will manage files from initial client onboarding through to post-settlement, ensuring every matter is handled with accuracy, professionalism, and strict compliance with New Zealand legal requirements. This role suits a detail-oriented legal professional who is comfortable taking instruction from multiple stakeholders, managing competing deadlines, and liaising confidently with clients, lenders, and third parties. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** **File Opening & Client Onboarding** * Conduct conflict checks and open new matters in the practice management system * Send engagement letters and fee estimates to new clients * Complete AML/CFT verification, including identification, proof of address, and source of funds documentation **Document Preparation** * Prepare legal documents from verbal and written instruction, including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, and company and trust minutes * Draft correspondence and client communications as directed by partners and solicitors **Conveyancing & Settlement** * Manage commercial and residential conveyancing transactions from conditions through to settlement * Advise on and track conditions including finance, LIM, builder's reports, and due diligence * Negotiate amendments to agreements where required * Collate instructions to confirm satisfaction or waiver of conditions, including finance and insurance cover * Liaise with internal staff and third parties regarding condition status **Pre-Settlement** * Prepare settlement statements and request mortgage instructions from lenders * Arrange
