Full Job Description
The Conversion Senior Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the end-to-end process for new business cases at John Hancock. This includes overseeing the processing of applications and recordkeeping agreements through to the assignment of contract numbers. The position also involves setting up all aspects of client information, investments, service features, and other onboarding requirements to ensure a seamless transition for new clients. **Position Responsibilities:** * Process and index cases of varying complexity, capturing information accurately in the system according to established methods and procedures while maintaining high quality and productivity standards. * Exercise good judgment in processing cases, performing thorough checks to eliminate financial errors and ensure compliance when handling highly sensitive and heavily regulated funds. * Consistently meet service levels, including rendering overtime during high-volume weeks and being on-call on Saturdays and holidays as needed. * Collaborate with colleagues and other teams by assisting with production work, managing leaves/day-offs responsibly during peak seasons, and supporting overall team capacity. * Identify and suggest process improvements, contribute to enhancing team metrics, and expand the range of knowledgeable functions handled by the team. **Required Qualifications:** * Technical Skills - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications * Soft Skills - Strong written communication abilities, such as composing clear and accurate paragraphs; proactively handle situations, including escalations or urgent requests, by conducting timely investigations, asking follow-up questions, and influencing others to prioritize clients' best interests; Ability to multitask effectively. * Product Specific Knowledge - Ability to understand simple insurance process or principles; Additional information regarding life insurance is an advantage * Process Specific Knowledge - Knowledge and expertise Group Ben
