What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, drafting, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience supporting controls or building automation projects, Experience developing hardware-focused design documentation for building systems, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, Effective communication skills, collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
Experience with building automation or HVAC control systems, Familiarity with mechanical systems, control panels, low-voltage wiring, and field installation practices, Experience working in educational, healthcare, or large commercial facilities, Prior experience supporting site-dedicated or campus-style projects

Develop control system hardware designs
Translate engineering direction into hardware designs
Create and maintain hardware documentation
Support multiple projects
Align hardware design with software sequences
Coordinate with project teams
Revise designs for change orders
and documentation standards

Team & Collaboration
Work in close partnership with a site-dedicated Controls Engineer; Collaboration with engineers and field teams; Coordinate with project teams, field technicians, and installation partners; Support close collaboration with engineering and project teams
