Application deadline: Jun 14, 2026 Amazon is seeking a Controls System Engineer to support the Amazon Logistics North America (AMZL NA) Engineering team, part of Amazon’s Last Mile organization. The Last Mile team helps get customer packages from delivery stations to a customer’s doorstep. We are looking for an individual who has experience creating scalable solutions to complex engineering problems. In this role, this individual will challenge current processes, equipment, procedures, and electrical/controls specifications in our delivery stations, in order to come up with creative and implementable process improvement initiatives with a focus on AB PLC/HMI, ignition, and vision systems continuous improvement. This Controls System Engineer will contribute to all aspects of an agile systems development life cycle including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing and operational sustainability. This position will be responsible for designing, managing and executing the next generation of delivery station processes, equipment, and operations. This is a unique opportunity to own new innovative projects that will advance the intelligence of our last mile business.
