What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of Ten (5) years of experience with programming, installing and/or commissioning controls systems including system-level controllers, Proficient with LON, Knowledge of the construction, service mechanical, electrical, or HVAC service industry, Knowledge and understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems, Experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i. e. , Modbus, LON, BACnet, etc. ), Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience, Advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools, such as Visio

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or an associate degree in a related technical field with seven years of relevant work experience, Understanding of IP networking for building automation systems

Develop complex software programs

Commission building control systems

Solve building control system issues

Provide detailed information and submittals

Create sequence of operations

Create bill of material

Create network layouts

Create electrical schematics

Develop and test software programs

Coordinate and create drawings

Order and track material delivery

Assist in loading and commissioning controllers

Validate system functionality

Provide field change information

Perform site-specific training

Participate in release meetings

Perform value engineering

Provide work direction
