An important competency in this position is to research, test, implement, and analyze for effectiveness improvements for system and process. Success in this role will be demonstrated by meeting safety and quality standards while driving revenue increases through improved production processes. _ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_ Leads and trains Controls Techs in programing new launches and troubleshooting production equipment issues. Writes and edits machine control programs to interface process equipment to safely operate production equipment (i.e., program light guards) and avoid malfunctions. Conceives of, plans, designs, develops, and implements new systems and/or processes. Defines scope, plans, organizes, leads, directs technical work for new and existing processes and systems.
