Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market. **Job Responsibilities:** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS** : 1) Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies. 2) Understand and promote Magna’s philosophies (Magna Operational Principles, Corporate Constitution and Employee’s Charter). 3) Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotic programs, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control 4) Design and develop new machine controls including robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and vision systems 5) Coordinate with engineering and maintenance on existing machine control modifications to robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and vision systems 6) Create, maintain and keep all electronic data bases: all electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs; machine power distribution and all related vendor controls component part documentation 7) Schedule and complete backups of all electronic machine control and robotic progra
