We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our team at Gotion's state-of-the-art facility in Manteno, IL. The Controls Engineer will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the Pack/Module pilot production line by ensuring high standards of process stability, quality, and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and equipment. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing engineering activities, ensuring stable processes that meet or exceed target yield, capabilities, throughput, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Collaborate with Quality and cross-functional teams to establish robust control plans and in-process quality checks. Lead efforts in equipment and line qualification during initial process ramp-up and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques, leveraging quality and statistical tools to address manufacturing challenges.
