What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years compliance, audit or risk management experience, 5+ years program or project Management experience, Advanced Microsoft Office products and applications knowledge, Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Nice to Have
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification, Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent, Master's degree or equivalent
What You'll Do.
Influence program development
framework and strategy
Ensure businesses operate to jurisdictional requirements
Ensure businesses operate to AWS Safety Management Program
Review due diligence risk assessments
Coordinate with DCPD managers to prioritize H&S
Ensure General Contractors and AWS deployment vendors compliance
Perform campus H&S kickoff sessions
Perform reviews of Construction Safety Management Plans
Document data and anecdotes in reporting tools
Manage 3rd party/internal H&S resources
Identify improvement opportunities at project(s)
Partner with Data Center Health and Safety Operational
Audit projects to the mental model
Analyze data for trends
Report out at project/regional levels
Report out within governance programs
Conduct regular site visits
Host project and regional specific contractor and internal
Host annual performance review sessions
Drive internal customers to manage H&S risks
Serve as escalation path for issue resolution
Manage site-based H&S team members and/or consultants
Apply knowledge of jurisdictional requirements
Apply knowledge of regional best practices
Apply knowledge of cultural norms
Apply knowledge of location specific characteristics
Develop DCPD competencies
Enable business ownership of solutions
Deploy mechanisms that manage H&S
Develop competencies and ownership of H&S in the
