AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. As a Controls Colo Engineer, you will work with internal business teams and with colocation vendors to identify, document, and resolve any operational/design deficiencies which could impact a site’s capability or availability. You will provide full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will be the ‘go to’ engineering resource when technical advice is needed, and will use your subject matter expertise and engage with diverse teams to: • Work in close relationship with the control team of DCE Colocation Design and Standards (CoDeS) to develop and implement new and existing standards. • Perform design and equipment submittal review for Controls for new Colo Data Centers in the region in order to ensure consistent standards across Colocation Data Centers and AWS owned sites. • Review and Identify risks within the scope of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for in-flight AWS Colo Data Centers. • R
